We established Amida four years ago and are passionate about taking the mystery out of complementary therapy treatments and presenting them in a professional and accessible way.  We believe that complementary and conventional medicine should be used in harmony to achieve the best possible results.   You understand that health and beauty are linked and we understand that your time is precious.  We have created a tranquil space at Amida where you can look after both in the way you choose and with the treatments that are the best for you. This interest subsequently expanded and I now treat a wide range of conditions, especially muscular problems, including back, neck and shoulder pain and this has become my field of particular expertise. 

I have extensive experience in counselling relating to addiction, both on a one to one basis and in group work.

Chinese herbs are an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and I often prescribe patent herbs as part of the treatment.

I am a member of the BAC and work to their Code of Ethics

I have been a counsellor and psychotherapist for over five years and work with a humanistic, integrative approach. 

This approach recognises there are significant connections between all approaches to counselling and that different clients have different needs.

I work with both long and short term clients with a wide range of issues. I previously worked with Croydon Alcohol Counselling Service for two years and therefore have particular experience in addiction issues.

Alongside counselling, I also work in the beauty side of the clinic, carrying out facials, waxing and manicures and very much enjoy this dual role.
